Hope’s Angels is a social and peer to peer support group for trans and nonbinary individuals, founded in late 2023.
Our mission is to provide peer-to-peer support to those in need, as well as their allies. Since our founding, we've grown rapidly, hosting biweekly meetings in Bournemouth and serving the Dorset area, with plans to expand.
We welcome all members of the trans community, as well as their loved ones. Additionally, we are proud to be a neurodivergent-friendly space. Above all, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming meetings!
About Us
Hope’s Angels was originally founded in the kitchen of our dear friend Hope Angel Blandford alongside Mimi and Amelia (and George the Cat as well).
We all shared a dream, and the desire to create a safe and inclusive space for the Trans community but also wanted to include their Allies as well on this journey.
Sadly, Hope was hospitalised and later passed away not seeing her vision realised. So, in December 2023 in honour of Hope Angel Blandford, Hope’s Angels was officially born and brought into being by her friends and family including her caregiver Robin, after her passing earlier in the year.
